| (a) To ensure an accurate source of data, the department may require a health facility or health professional to make available for review by the department or by an authorized agent medical records or other information that is in the facility's or professional's custody or control and that relates to an occurrence of RSV. (b) The department shall request that data on RSV be reported weekly to the department through an existing surveillance program as specified by the department. (c) The data reported should include at minimum the total number of laboratory tests performed for RSV infection and the total number of positive tests for RSV infection collected during the week for which it is reported. |
