RULE §5.1Public Works and Economic Development Act

(a) The governor's Office of Budget and Planning adopts by reference Public Law 89-136, 42 United States Code §3121 et seq., as amended, styled the Public Works and Economic Development Act of 1965, as amended, hereinafter referred to as "the Act," including all federal rules and regulations.

(b) The Act sets forth specific requirements concerning the Federal Economic Development Program provides for grants for public works and development facilities, for other financial assistance, and for the planning and coordination needed to alleviate conditions of substantial and persistent unemployment and underemployment in economically distressed areas and regions.

(c) Copies of the Act may be obtained at the Office of the Secretary of State, Austin.

(d) A copy of the text of the Act is attached hereto and filed as adopted by governor's Office of Budget and Planning with the Office of the Secretary of State, Austin.
