| (a) The state agency or state agency employee seeking regulation or certification under this chapter must provide written documentation from the administrative head of the department providing fire protection, fire prevention, fire instruction, or fire training evaluation describing the duties, responsibilities, and work schedule of the state agency or state employee seeking regulation. (b) State agency employees who are employed in the field of fire instruction or fire training evaluation who receive certification under this chapter must be full-time employees.
