RULE §65.9Open Seasons: General Rules

(a) Except as provided under Parks and Wildlife Code, §62.003, no person may hunt a wild animal or bird when the person is on a public road or right-of-way.

(b) No antlerless deer permit is required to take an antlerless white-tailed deer during the archery-only open season, except on lands enrolled in the Managed Lands Deer Program.

(c) The hunting of roosting turkey is unlawful.
