(a)An employer that has employees who are employed in Texas and one or more other states may choose to report to a state other than Texas provided the employer designates only one state in which such employer has employees; transmits the required reports using [magnetic or] electronic media authorized by the Title IV-D agency for conveying information; and notifies the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services [services ], in writing, prior to reporting. (b)When submitting written notification to the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services about the designation of the single State for Employer New Hire Reporting [new hire reporting], an employer should include the following information: (1)The same Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN) used for the Texas Workforce Commission, (2) - (5)(No change.) (c)(No change.) (d)An employer can notify the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services in one of three ways: (1)Notify the Secretary in writing at the following address: Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families, Office of Child Support Enforcement Multi State Employer Notification [Registration], P.O. Box 509, Randallstown, MD 21133; (2)(No change.) (3)Notify the Secretary via the Internet by accessing the Multistate Employer option on the OCSE Internet [World Wide Web] home Page.
