Preamble Texas Admin Code Rule
The following words and terms, when used in this subchapter, shall have the following meanings, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise:

  (1) - (2)(No change.)

  (3)Date of hire--The date of hire for a new employee is considered to be the first day services are performed for pay [ wages] by an individual.

  (4) - (9)(No change.)

This agency hereby certifies that the proposal has been reviewed by legal counsel and found to be within the agency's legal authority to adopt.
