Preamble Texas Admin Code Rule

(a)Authority. Statutory authority for this subchapter is provided in the Texas Education Code, Chapter 142, §142.003(b) and Chapter 143, §143.004(c).

(b)Purposes. The Advisory Committee on Research Programs is created to provide the Board with advice and recommendation(s) regarding the Board's development of research priorities, guidelines, and procedures for the selection of specific projects for the Norman Hackerman Advanced Research Program and Advanced Technology Program.

The agency certifies that legal counsel has reviewed the adoption and found it to be a valid exercise of the agency's legal authority.
