(a)An applicant for licensure as a psychologist who
provides documentation that the applicant is actively licensed and
in good standing as a psychologist in another jurisdiction must meet
the following requirements:
(1)The applicant must be actively licensed as a provisionally
licensed psychologist and in good standing.
(2)The applicant must affirm that the applicant has
received 3,000 hours of experience supervised by a psychologist licensed
in the state where the supervision took place. At least half of these
hours (a minimum of 1,500 hours) must have been completed after the
doctoral degree was conferred or completed. The formal internship
year may be met either before or after the doctoral degree was conferred
or completed, as indicated on the official transcript.
(3)The applicant must document that the applicant
has not received any disciplinary action (apart from disciplinary
action related to Continuing Education) by any other jurisdiction
and that there is no pending action or complaint against the applicant
in any other jurisdiction.
(b)An applicant meeting the requirements of subsection
(a) of this section is considered to have met the requirements for
licensure in Board rule §463.11 of this title (relating to Licensed
Psychologist).
The agency certifies that legal counsel
has reviewed the adoption and found it to be a valid exercise of the
agency's legal authority.
