Employees have the right to appeal an order for remedial action under §12.18 of this title (relating to Resolving Prohibited Interests), and shall have 30 days to exercise this right before disciplinary action is initiated. (1) Employees, other than the Commissioners, may file their appeal, in writing, through established procedures within the Commission. (2) The Commissioners may file their appeals, in writing, with the Director, who will refer it to the Conflict of Interest Appeals Board within the U.S. Department of the Interior.
