RULE §2.28 | Show Cause for Contested Case Hearings |
Where permitted by law, the commissioner may, at any time after notice to all interested parties, cite any person or agency under the commissioner's jurisdiction to appear at a public hearing and require such person or agency to show cause why it should not comply with any applicable statute, rule, regulation, or general order of the agency, with which it is allegedly in noncompliance or why the agency should not take a particular action permitted by law. All such show cause hearings shall be conducted in accordance with the provisions of this chapter. |
