RULE §213.11 | Emergency Management Responsibilities of the Texas Department on Aging |
The Department shall consult with the Office of Emergency Management, Department of Public Safety, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the Administration on Aging, grantees, area agencies on aging, other state, county and local government entities, service providers and other activities which have an interest in or role in meeting the needs of the elderly in planning for, during, and after natural, civil defense, and/or man-made disasters. To facilitate this responsibility, the Department shall identify an individual as the Emergency Management specialist for the Department who shall: |
