(F) disposed of in any other manner that controls insect
breeding.
(4) Manure packs in loafing areas, stables without
stanchions, pen stables, resting barns, wandering sheds, and free-stall
housing must be properly bedded and managed to prevent fly breeding.
(5) Milkrooms must be free of insects and rodents.
(6) Milkrooms must be effectively protected against
the entrance of vermin.
(7) Exterior milkhouse doors must be tight and self-closing.
Screen doors must open outward.
(8) Insecticides and rodenticides not approved for
use in the milkhouse may not be stored in the milkhouse.
(9) Only insecticides and rodenticides approved for
use by the department and registered with the U.S. Environmental Protection
Agency may be used for insect and rodent control.
(10) Insecticides and rodenticides must be applied
in accordance with state pesticide law, the manufacturer''s label
directions, and to prevent the contamination of milk, milk containers,
equipment, utensils, feed, and water.
