(a) Reference filings for policy forms and endorsements
should not include a copy of the referenced material.
(b) In addition to the transmittal information, a reference
filing must include:
(1) the name of the insurance company or advisory organization
whose filing is being referenced; and
(2) the TDI file number or SERFF tracking number of
the filing being referenced.
(c) For personal automobile, residential property,
and personal multi-peril insurance, the filing must also include:
(1) a list of each form and endorsement that the insurer
will use from each referenced filing; and
(2) a form usage table, as described in §5.9321(c)(6)
of this title (relating to General Filing Requirements), that includes
each form and endorsement that the insurer will use from each referenced
filing.
(d) If a filer wants to change a form or endorsement
approved for another insurer or an advisory organization, the filer
may not submit the form as a reference filing. The filer must submit
the amended form for approval with the information required by §5.9321
and §5.9322 of this title (relating to Additional Information).
