(a) "Fringe benefits" is defined as allowances and
services provided by the grantee to its employees as compensation
in addition to regular salaries and wages. Fringe benefits include,
but are not limited to, the costs of leave, employee insurance, pensions,
and unemployment benefit plans.
(b) Grant funds may be used to pay fringe benefits
of an employee only if grant funds are also being used to pay for
the salary of the same employee.
(c) A grantee must provide grant-funded personnel the
same fringe benefits provided to all other non-grant-funded personnel
of the grantee.
