(a) Notice. The executive director shall give written notice
of movement restriction requirements, as provided in §58.21 of this title
(relating to Livestock Movement Restrictions), which are in effect within
this state or part of the state:
(1) by fax, or
(2) by mail, or
(3) by delivering a written notice to the owner or caretaker
of the animals or places where the movement of livestock is restricted.
(b) Contents of Notice. The notice of movement restriction,
as provided under §58.21 of this title (relating to Livestock Movement
Restrictions), shall state:
(1) the cause for which the movement restriction is established,
whether for infection or for exposure;
(2) any exceptions, terms, conditions, or provisions prescribed
under this chapter must be stated in the movement restriction notice;
(3) state the class of persons authorized by the commission
or the executive director to issue certificates or permits permitting movement.
Any authorized movement certificate or permit must be issued by a veterinarian
or other person authorized by the commission to issue a certificate or permit.
