(a) In research with a human subject, a licensee is
responsible for the welfare of the human subject throughout a project
and must take reasonable precautions so the human subject suffers
no injurious emotional, physical, or social effect.
(b) A licensee must disguise data obtained from a therapeutic
relationship for the purposes of education or research to ensure full
protection of the identity of the human subject client.
(c) When conducting and reporting research, a licensee
must give recognition to previous work on the topic as well as observe
all copyright laws.
(d) A licensee must give due credit through joint authorship,
acknowledgment, footnote statements, or other appropriate means to
those who have contributed significantly to the licensee's research
or publication.
