| (a) The amount of funding available to the program
is dependent on the legislative appropriation for the program for
each biennial state budget. THECB will provide award levels and estimated
number of awards in the RFA.
(b) ACE Grant Program awards shall be subject to THECB
approval pursuant to §1.16 of this title (relating to Contracts,
Including Grants, for Materials and/or Services).
(c) The Commissioner of Higher Education may adjust
the size of a grantee award to best fulfill the purpose of the RFA.
(d) THECB may advance grant awards to a grantee through
periodic installments. If the RFA requires matching contributions,
the grantee must demonstrate through financial reporting that the
grantee has complied with the matching funds requirement before THECB
will issue the next periodic installment.
(e) Determination of the allowability of administrative
costs, including indirect, will be set forth in the RFA.
(f) Grant awards will be based on the criteria set
forth in the RFA and may be used to cover Program tuition, fees, instructional
resources, and services allowed in the grantee application as defined
in §10.875(d) of this subchapter (relating to Evaluation).
