(a) The board or the chair may establish committees deemed necessary to carry out board responsibilities. (b) The chair shall appoint members of the board to serve on committees and shall appoint the committee chairs. (c) The chair may appoint non board members to serve as committee members on a consultant or voluntary basis subject to board approval. (d) Committee chairs shall make regular reports to the board in interim written reports or at regular meetings. (e) Committees may direct all reports or other materials to the executive director for distribution. (f) Committees shall meet when called by the committee chair or when so directed by the board or the board chair. (g) Each committee shall consist of least one public member and one professional member, unless the board authorizes otherwise. |
