| (a) A physician may delegate tasks and activities to a telepresenter who is qualified by licensing, training or experience for the performance of the task or activity as long as the task or activity does not require the exercise of independent medical judgment for its performance; (b) A physician delegating tasks or activities to a telepresenter shall ensure that the telepresenter to whom delegation is made is qualified by licensure, training, or experience to perform the task or activity delegated; (c) A physician delegating tasks or activities to a telepresenter shall ensure that the telepresenter to whom delegation is made is adequately supervised. |
