CHAPTER 153PROVISIONS OF THE TEXAS APPRAISER LICENSING AND CERTIFICATION ACT
RULE §153.10Date of Licensure

(a) Applicants are not certified, licensed, approved, authorized, or registered, nor are their certifications, licenses, approvals, or authorizations renewed, and may not hold themselves out as certified or licensed appraisers, or as appraiser trainees or as registered temporary non-resident appraisers, until the certificate, license, approval, authorization or registration has been issued by the board.

(b) A certification, license, approval, authorization or registration is issued when all requirements have been met and it is entered into the board's database and a certificate, license, authorization, approval, or registration number has been assigned.
