| (a) No, if the participant requests a hearing, the contractor cannot reduce, suspend, or terminate cash assistance until the hearing process is complete and a final decision has been made. (b) If the contractor's action is upheld, a participant may have to repay assistance that was given during the hearing process. (c) Participants can request that payments be held until a final hearing decision has been reached to avoid possible repayment. |
