| (a) The purpose of the Major Events Reimbursement Program
is to reimburse local governments and local organizing committees
for certain eligible costs associated with conducting major events
specifically referenced in Texas Revised Civil Statutes, Article 5190.14,
Section 5A, provided that all statutory and administrative requirements
are satisfied.
(b) The purpose of the Events Trust Fund Program is
to reimburse local governments and local organizing committees for
certain eligible costs associated with conducting eligible events
under Texas Revised Civil Statutes, Article 5190.14, Section 5C, provided
that all statutory and administrative requirements are satisfied.
(c) The purpose of the Motor Sports Racing Trust Fund
Program is to reimburse local governments and local organizing committees
for certain eligible costs associated with conducting specific motor
sports racing events under Texas Revised Civil Statutes, Article 5190.14,
Section 5B, provided that the event is sanctioned by the Automobile
Competition Committee for the United States, held at a temporary event
venue, and that all statutory and administrative requirements are
satisfied.
