| (a) Request for transcript. When requested by the Commission,
the examiner, or a party, a certified shorthand reporter shall make
a verbatim record and transcript of the hearing.
(b) Assessment of costs. The cost of the original transcripts
shall be assessed to all parties equally unless otherwise directed
by the examiner or required by law.
(c) Charges. The Commission shall approve rates to
be charged by reporters for appearances, original transcripts, and
copies. The rates shall not exceed rates authorized by law to be paid
to court reporters in Texas district courts.
