RULE §11.112Termination or Suspension with Consent

If the holder of a permit no longer desires to operate the surface mining operation or is agreeable to a suspension of his authority to do so for a specified period of time, he should file a written waiver or consent to the suspension of his authority in the central office of the commission; if he so requests, the central office of the commission will prepare and send him a written waiver or consent to execute. The commission shall then enter an order terminating the permit or suspending the authority to operate the surface mining operation for a specified period. A copy of the order shall be sent by mail to the holder of the permit.
