| (a) A person who is licensed or registered under another
law of this state and who under the license or registration engages
in code enforcement is not required to register with the department.
(b) This state or a political subdivision of this state
is not required to employ a person registered under the Act if the
state or political subdivision engages in code enforcement. However,
if this state or a political subdivision of the state employs a person
who uses the title "code enforcement officer," the person must be
registered under the Act.
