| (a) A board member may not receive a salary, but is
entitled to reimbursement for actual expenses incurred in performing
board duties subject to the General Appropriations Act.
(b) Expenses reimbursed to board members shall be limited
to authorized expenses incurred while on board business and traveling
to and from board meetings. The least expensive method of travel should
be used.
(c) Expenses paid to board members shall be limited
to those allowed by the State of Texas Travel Allowance Guide and
the department's policies governing travel allowances for employees.
