RULE §97.56Service Technician License Requirements--Renewal

(a) To renew a service technician license, an applicant must submit:

  (1) a completed renewal application in a manner prescribed by the department; and

  (2) the fee required under §97.72.

(b) A late renewal means the license holder will have an unlicensed period from the expiration date of the expired license to the issuance date of the renewed license. During the unlicensed period, a person may not perform any device maintenance activities under this chapter.

(c) A license holder is responsible for renewing their license before the expiration date. Lack of receipt of a license renewal notice from the department must not excuse failure to file for renewal or late renewal.
