RULE §313.447Ramifications of Disqualification

(a) If the stewards disqualify a horse in a race, each horse in the race that is owned, in whole, or in part, by the same owner or that is trained by the same trainer may be disqualified.

(b) If a horse is disqualified for interference in a time trial race, the horse shall receive the time of the horse it is placed behind, plus a one-hundredth of a second, or a more exact measurement if photofinish equipment permits. The horse may be eligible to qualify for the finals or consolations of the race on the basis of the assigned time.
