The following words and terms, when used in these sections, shall have
the following meanings unless the context clearly indicates otherwise.
(1) Agreement--The agreement between the National Geographic
Society and the Coordinating Board to create and administer the Texas Fund
for Geography Education.
(2) Board--The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.
(3) Commissioner--The Commissioner of Higher Education.
(4) Committee--The advisory committee appointed by the Commissioner
to solicit and recommend grant proposals.
(5) Fund--The Texas Fund for Geography Education, which consists
of funds contributed by the Board, the Society, and donors and income to the
fund.
(6) Society--The National Geographic Society of Washington,
D.C.
