RULE §231.65Science, Grades 7 and 8

An assignment in a departmentalized classroom for Science, Grades 7 and 8, is allowed with one of the following certificates.

  (1) Bilingual Generalist: Grades 4-8.

  (2) Chemistry: Grades 7-12.

  (3) Chemistry: Grades 8-12 (Grade 8 only).

  (4) Core Subjects: Grades 4-8.

  (5) Core Subjects with Science of Teaching Reading: Grades 4-8.

  (6) Elementary Biology.

  (7) Elementary Chemistry.

  (8) Elementary Earth Science.

  (9) Elementary Life/Earth Middle-School Science.

  (10) Elementary Physical Science.

  (11) Elementary Physics.

  (12) Elementary Biology (Grades 1-8).

  (13) Elementary Chemistry (Grades 1-8).

  (14) Elementary Earth Science (Grades 1-8).

  (15) Elementary Life/Earth Middle-School Science (Grades 1-8).

  (16) Elementary Physical Science (Grades 1-8).

  (17) Elementary Physics (Grades 1-8).

  (18) Elementary teacher certificate plus 18 semester credit hours in any combination of sciences.

  (19) English as a Second Language Generalist: Grades 4-8.

  (20) Generalist: Grades 4-8.

  (21) Grades 6-12 or Grades 6-8--Biology.

  (22) Grades 6-12 or Grades 6-8--Chemistry.

  (23) Grades 6-12 or Grades 6-8--Earth Science.

  (24) Grades 6-12 or Grades 6-8--Life/Earth Middle-School Science.

  (25) Grades 6-12 or Grades 6-8--Physical Science.

  (26) Grades 6-12 or Grades 6-8--Physics.

  (27) Grades 6-12 or Grades 6-8--Science.

  (28) Grades 6-12 or Grades 6-8--Science, Composite.

  (29) Junior High School or High School--Biology.

  (30) Junior High School or High School--Chemistry.

  (31) Junior High School or High School--Earth Science.

  (32) Junior High School or High School--Life/Earth Middle-School Science.

  (33) Junior High School or High School--Physical Science.

  (34) Junior High School or High School--Physics.

  (35) Junior High School or High School--Science.

  (36) Junior High School or High School--Science, Composite.

  (37) Life Science: Grades 7-12.

  (38) Life Science: Grades 8-12 (Grade 8 only).

  (39) Legacy Master Science Teacher (Grades 4-8).

  (40) Legacy Master Science Teacher (Grades 8-12) (Grade 8 only).

  (41) Mathematics/Physical Science/Engineering: Grades 6-12.

  (42) Mathematics/Physical Science/Engineering: Grades 8-12 (Grade 8 only).

  (43) Mathematics/Science: Grades 4-8.

  (44) Physical Science: Grades 6-12.

  (45) Physical Science: Grades 8-12 (Grade 8 only).

  (46) Physics/Mathematics: Grades 7-12.

  (47) Physics/Mathematics: Grades 8-12 (Grade 8 only).

  (48) Science: Grades 4-8.

  (49) Science: Grades 7-12.

  (50) Science: Grades 8-12 (Grade 8 only).

  (51) Secondary Biology (Grades 6-12).

  (52) Secondary Chemistry (Grades 6-12).

  (53) Secondary Earth Science (Grades 6-12).

  (54) Secondary Life/Earth Science (Grades 6-12).

  (55) Secondary Physical Science (Grades 6-12).

  (56) Secondary Physics (Grades 6-12).

  (57) Secondary Science (Grades 6-12).

  (58) Secondary Science, Composite (Grades 6-12).

  (59) Secondary or all-level teacher certificate plus 18 semester credit hours in any combination of sciences.
