CHAPTER 161GENERAL PROVISIONS
RULE §161.1Introduction

The Texas Medical Board, referred to as the "board" or the "Medical Board", is an agency of the executive branch of state government statutorily empowered to regulate the practice of medicine in Texas. The Board also provides oversight and support for several advisory boards and advisory committees.
