| (a) Perfusionists shall perform perfusion under an
order and under the supervision of a licensed physician and in accordance
with §603.003 of the Act and this chapter.
(b) Perfusion-related policies and protocols shall
be developed or approved by a licensed health facility or a physician
through collaboration with administrators, licensed perfusionists,
and other health professionals as required by §603.003 of the
Act and this chapter.
(c) A provisionally licensed perfusionist under §188.7
of this chapter (relating to Provisional Licensed Perfusionists),
shall be supervised by a perfusionist or physician who has an active
and unrestricted license to practice as a perfusionist or physician
in Texas.
