| (a) The department shall issue a permit to a person who meets the requirements of this section, §205.54 of this title (relating to Permit Requirements and Conditions), §205.56 of this title (relating to Permit Application), and §205.57 of this title (relating to Permit Fee). (b) The permit holder may renew the permit by filing a renewal application accompanied by a renewal fee following the requirements described in subsection (a) of this section. (c) At least 45 days before a permit expires the department, as a service to the permit holder, will send a renewal notice to the last known address of the permit holder. It is the responsibility of the permit holder to keep the department informed of their current mailing address and to timely renew their permit whether or not they have received the notification from the department. (d) If a permit holder submits a completed permit renewal application and fee to the department postmarked on or before the permit expiration date, the existing permit does not expire until the application has been finally determined by the department. If the application is denied or the terms of the new permit are limited, the existing permit does not expire until the last day for seeking review of the agency order or a later date fixed by order of the reviewing court. |
