(a) A center must adopt and enforce a written policy
identifying the center's operating hours. A center may not:
(1) allow the provision of services to a minor at a
center for more than 12 hours in any 24-hour period; or
(2) allow the provision of services to a minor at a
center overnight.
(b) For the purposes of this section, the person in
charge means the administrator, the alternate administrator, the nursing
director, or the alternate nursing director.
(c) If a center is closed during the center's operating
hours, the person in charge must:
(1) post a notice, in a location visible outside the
center, that provides information regarding how to contact the person
in charge by telephone; and
(2) leave an outgoing message on the center's answering
machine or similar electronic mechanism or with an answering service
that provides information about how to contact the person in charge
by telephone.
