| (a) You may use a screen time activity to supplement,
but not to replace, an activity for children described in §744.2001
of this division (relating to What planned activities must caregivers
provide for children in their care?) and §744.2002 of this division
(relating to What additional activities must caregivers provide when
a child is in care for more than five consecutive hours in a day?).
(b) If you use a screen time activity for a child at
the operation, you must ensure that the activity:
(1) Is related to the planned activities that meet
educational goals;
(2) Is age-appropriate;
(3) Does not exceed one hour per day;
(4) Is not used during mealtime, snack times, naptimes,
or rest times;
(5) Does not include advertising or violence; and
(6) Is turned off when not in use.
(c) A school-age child may use screen time without
restriction for homework.
