(a) A person who was a caregiver or employee at your
operation during the past 12 months may be exempt from orientation
if you meet the following requirements:
(1) You discuss with the person any changes in your
services or programs that have occurred since the person was previously
a caregiver or employee;
(2) If the person is an employee, you ensure the employee
received training during the past 12 months from your operation on
prevention, recognition, and reporting on child abuse, neglect, and
exploitation; and
(3) If the person is acting as a caregiver, you do
not allow the person to be the only caregiver for a group of children
before you meet the requirement in paragraph (1) of this section.
(b) You must document the discussion and the previous
training in the person's personnel record.
