SUBCHAPTER SMULTIPLE-EMPLOYER WELFARE ARRANGEMENTS REQUIREMENTS FOR OBTAINING AND MAINTAINING CERTIFICATE OF AUTHORIZATION
RULE §7.1901Scope and Applicability

(a) These sections apply to any multiple-employer welfare arrangement which is subject to provisions of the Insurance Code, Chapter 3, Subchapter I, concerning the licensing and regulation of such arrangements.

(b) These sections do not apply to any arrangement or plan that is established or maintained under or pursuant to one or more agreements which the United States Secretary of Labor finds to be a collective bargaining agreement, or to any arrangement or plan that is established or maintained by a rural electric cooperative or a rural telephone cooperative association, as those terms are defined in the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (29 United States Code §1002(40)).
