(a) A subsurface area drip dispersal system shall not pollute groundwater quality. (b) If groundwater is present beneath the site of a proposed subsurface area drip dispersal system, the executive director may require that the baseline quality of the groundwater be documented by: (1) sampling the quality of the first occurrence of groundwater on site for a minimum of two sample events at least 30 days apart; or (2) an alternative method submitted by the applicant and approved by the executive director. (c) The executive director may impose continuing groundwater monitoring at a particular subsurface area drip dispersal system site. |
