| (a) This subchapter shall govern the use of funds deposited in the Water Loan Assistance Fund for the purpose of the Small Community Hardship Program from payments made by the Texas Water Resources Finance Authority to the board, as well as such other funds that may be made available for such program. (b) The purpose of the use of the funds by the board is to provide financial assistance to economically distressed areas as provided in Water Code, Chapter 15 and as further specified in this subchapter. |
