| RULE §55.18 | Care and Custody of Seized Property Pending Court Hearing |
An officer who seizes property shall preserve, protect, and maintain custody of the property pending final disposition pursuant to court order. The officer may take appropriate steps to maintain the value of the property, and reduce the chance of theft or damage. |
