CHAPTER 343SECURE JUVENILE PRE-ADJUDICATION DETENTION AND POST-ADJUDICATION CORRECTIONAL FACILITIES
SUBCHAPTER DSECURE POST-ADJUDICATION CORRECTIONAL FACILITY STANDARDS
RULE §343.628Facility-Wide Ratio

(a) The facility-wide juvenile supervision officer-to-resident ratio shall not be less than:

  (1) one juvenile supervision officer to every eight residents during program hours; and

  (2) one juvenile supervision officer to:

    (A) every 20 residents during non-program hours if the post-adjudication facility is not located in the same building as a pre-adjudication facility; or

    (B) every 18 residents during non-program hours if the post-adjudication facility is located in the same building as a pre-adjudication facility.

(b) For a juvenile supervision officer to count in the facility-wide ratio, the officer shall be present on the facility premises at all times.
