| (a) Before making an offer of employment for a position
eligible for certification under this chapter, a department or facility
must verify that the applicant:
(1) has not been designated as ineligible for certification
by TJJD;
(2) has not had his/her certification revoked;
(3) is not currently under an order of active suspension
issued by TJJD; and
(4) is not currently ineligible to take the certification
exam due to repeated failures to pass the exam as described in §344.700
of this title.
(b) The verification must be completed using TJJD's
certification system.
