CHAPTER 260COUNTY CORRECTIONAL CENTERS
SUBCHAPTER BCCC DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION AND FURNISHING REQUIREMENTS
RULE §260.113Functions

Minimum space allocations shall provide for the following:

  (1) Offender processing and reception.

  (2) Detention:

    (A) housing;

    (B) visiting; and

    (C) jailer stations.

  (3) Support/Services:

    (A) public areas;

    (B) administrative space;

    (C) food service;

    (D) laundry;

    (E) storage;

    (F) sanitation;

    (G) recreation and exercise;

    (H) offender programs and activities;

    (I) counseling and interviews;

    (J) medical exam.

  (4) It is permissible to use the same room or space allocation for more than one of the listed functions where such use will not deny the rights of any individual and will not impair the safety, security, or sanitation of the facility.
