| (a) In all cases covered by these rules, a certified
and insured prescribed burn manager with insurance coverage as required
by §227.1 of this title (relating to Minimum Insurance Requirements)
must be present at all times during a prescribed burn.
(b) The certified and insured prescribed burn manager
is responsible for ensuring that a sufficient number of individuals
are present to meet the personnel requirements set forth in the written
prescribed burn plan for the protection and safety of persons and
adjacent property.
(c) Personnel requirements for conducting prescribed
burns vary depending on the size of the burn area, fuel volatility,
and management of adjacent areas and it is the responsibility of the
certified and insured prescribed burn manager to ensure compliance
with this section.
