| (a) To receive assistance from the Commission, a veteran
must:
(1) request assistance from the Commission to obtain
information on the citizenship process;
(2) provide required documentation to the USCIS to
facilitate the citizenship process;
(3) follow through with requirements of the USCIS to
complete the process for obtaining citizenship or naturalization;
and
(4) agree to pay for any fees required by the USCIS
to complete the process for obtaining citizenship or naturalization.
(b) The Commission assists veterans by providing information
on federal resources that are available to assist them in the process.
The Commission does not provide legal advice and does not file forms
on behalf of veterans.
