RULE §705.3101What actions does APS perform when alleged victims are also victims of family violence?

(a) When APS staff validate an allegation that an alleged victim is a victim of family violence as specified in the Texas Family Code, §71.004, the adult protective services caseworker:

  (1) documents that the alleged victim is a victim of family violence; and

  (2) provides the victim with written information in English or Spanish, as appropriate, concerning community services that are available.

(b) Statistical compilations of the documented findings are included in DFPS's annual report.
