| (a) Except as provided by this section, each statutory
advisory committee or department advisory committee is abolished on
December 31, 2023.
(b) The following advisory committees are abolished
on December 31, 2025:
(1) a statutory or department advisory committee created
after December 31, 2023;
(2) the Aviation Advisory Committee;
(3) the Public Transportation Advisory Committee;
(4) the Port Authority Advisory Committee;
(5) the Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee;
(6) the Freight Advisory Committee; and
(7) the Commission for High-Speed Rail in the Dallas/Fort
Worth Region.
(c) A corridor segment advisory committee created under §1.87
of this subchapter (relating to Corridor Segment Advisory Committees)
after December 31, 2023 is abolished on the date provided in the minute
order creating the committee or if a date is not provided in the order,
on the earlier of:
(1) the date of the completion of the segment for which
the committee was created; or
(2) December 31, 2025.
(d) This section does not apply to the Border Trade
Advisory Committee or the I-27 Advisory Committee.
(e) The Advanced Air Mobility Advisory Committee is
abolished on January 1, 2025, as provided by Transportation Code, §21.0045(f).
