| (a) A sign may not be erected or maintained on a tree or painted or drawn on a rock or other natural feature. (b) A sign may not be erected or maintained within the right of way of a public roadway or an area that would be within the right of way if the right of way boundary lines were projected across an area of railroad right of way, utility right of way, or road right of way that is not owned by the state or a political subdivision. (c) A sign may not be erected or maintained on a highway or part of a highway designated under Transportation Code, §391.252. (d) A sign may not be erected or contain a display that imitates or resembles any official traffic sign, signal, or device. |
