| (a) Within 15 days of the time in which construction of barriers described in an approved application is required to be completed, the department may inspect those barriers to determine whether they meet the requirements. (b) If, after inspection, the department determines that the barriers described in an approved application conform with the plan and comply with the Act, the department will issue a safety certificate to the responsible party. (c) If, after inspection, the department determines that a barrier does not comply with the Act, the department will give the applicant written notice of any defects in that barrier and shall specify a reasonable time, not to exceed 60 days from the day notice is received, for the applicant to cure the defects. |
