(a) The pool administrator will consider requests in
the order in which they are received and will determine an employee's
eligibility and approve or deny the request within five business days
after the date on which a completed request form is received.
(b) If the pool administrator approves the request,
the pool administrator will determine the amount of time that an employee
may withdraw from the family leave pool based on:
(1) the number of hours requested by the employee;
(2) the documentation submitted in support of the requested
leave;
(3) the date and time the employee exhausted or will
exhaust all eligible compensatory, discretionary, sick, and vacation
leave; and
(4) the limitations on the amount of withdrawals from
the family leave pool provided by §4.75 of this subchapter (relating
to Requests for Withdrawals).
